In January 2008, the Customer Service Standard of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) became legislation that requires organizations to provide:
- AODA training to all employees, and ensuring that third-party suppliers or contractors are trained by their employers.
- Documented policies and procedures
- Ministry reporting
