Your AODA video DVD is only 15 minutes long. Does it cover off everything required to be compliant?

Yes. It also comes with print material that expands on certain areas like language, politically correct terms.


Do I have the right to put my logo on the Participant Guide and make any edits I want? What about copies? Can I make as many as I want?

Yes. The Participant Guide will be emailed to you in Microsoft Word format, so that you can edit and reproduce as many copies as you want.

Is there any ongoing licensing fee with the video DVD product?

No there is not.


I have remote workers that can’t get into the office. Can I put the video on our server?

Yes. We can provide you with a link that you can forward to your employees.


What about tracking capability?

Tracking is typically built in to our backend database for our eLearning program. However, you could put a quiz on your server and track learners.


Is there closed captioning?

Yes. There is a closed captioning option that you can turn on and off with your converter or mouse.


What options come on the menu systems of the video DVD?

There are two menus that will come up on the screen, one with a quiz built in and one without.


What is the built-in quiz good for?

The built-in quiz version is great for new employee orientation. At the end of the program employees will be asked to give their supervisor a number to show they have completed the program. Learners can not go forward until they get the correct answer. If they answer wrong, they will be required to briefly go over the material they answered incorrectly. Some trainers prefer using the built-in quiz version when training an audience as a way of engaging them.


Can you use the video DVD on a computer that has a video DVD player built in, as well as the TV?

Yes.


Is there a one- time fee for the video DVD? Are there any contracts to sign or ongoing fees?

There is a one- time fee for the video DVD that includes everything you need to comply with the AODA training and policy requirements.


How is HR Proactive certified to develop compliance materials for the workplace?

HR Proactive is made up of subject matter specialists (many of our consultants formerly worked for the Ontario Human Rights Commission). For the last 14 years, we have been delivering training across Ontario and have developed the in-house capability to deliver compliance training in all methods of delivery, e.g., Video DVD, E-learning, instructor-led.


How long will it take me to receive the materials?

Upon purchasing online through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account but rather just a visa or MasterCard), you will be emailed the policy and participant guide immediately. Your video DVD will be shipped by express post and usually arrives within two days.
